Omani Legal Tech Startup Takes Its AI Platform Global

From Muscat to 17 Countries, instaSpace Is Using Artificial Intelligence and Local Legal Expertise to Build a Smarter Digital Legal Platform

Muscat, Oman, 8 September 2026 – A legal technology company from Oman is taking its digital platform beyond the country’s borders, showing how artificial intelligence is creating new opportunities for legal services across international markets.

Muscat-based instaSpace has expanded its customer base to 17 countries, with Saudi Arabia emerging as one of its fastest-growing markets in the region. The company, founded in 2024 by Ahmed al Kindi and Aseel al Rawahi, provides an Arabic-English artificial intelligence platform designed to support legal teams with everyday work.

The platform covers several areas of legal operations, including legal research, document drafting, contract review, negotiation, workflow management and electronic signatures. Its customers now include legal teams across Gulf markets as well as the United Kingdom, United States, Australia, Singapore and Canada.

The company has reported strong growth in recent months. Its user base more than quadrupled between June and August 2026, while monthly user onboarding reached about 20 times its January level. The amount of legal work completed through the platform also increased more than sixfold compared with the previous quarter.

Saudi Arabia has become an important market in this expansion. Rather than simply introducing the same technology in every country, instaSpace is working with local legal professionals to adapt its platform to individual legal environments.

The company has entered into a strategic partnership with Riyadh-based Ejabah Legal Consultancy. Under the agreement, Saudi lawyers will review the platform’s Arabic legal output and help improve the technology for users working under Saudi law. Ejabah will also offer specialist legal assistance when customers need advice from a practising lawyer.

This approach highlights an important issue for the growing legal AI sector. Legal systems differ from one country to another, meaning that technology designed for one jurisdiction may not always provide suitable results elsewhere.

For instaSpace, combining artificial intelligence with local legal expertise is becoming a central part of its international growth strategy. The company plans to explore similar partnerships in other countries as it expands.

The platform itself was developed after the founders worked with an in-house legal department during a business accelerator programme in Oman. Its first customers were financial institutions in the country, providing the company with an early opportunity to understand how legal teams use technology in their daily operations.

The company’s expansion also reflects the wider growth of legal technology, as businesses increasingly look for digital tools that can reduce repetitive work, improve document management and make legal processes more efficient.

For instaSpace, the next challenge will be turning its early international momentum into sustainable growth. Its experience in Saudi Arabia could provide a model for entering other jurisdictions, where adapting artificial intelligence to local legal requirements will be just as important as the technology itself.

As legal teams around the world continue to explore AI-powered tools, the story of this Omani startup points to a broader trend: the future of legal technology may not depend on replacing legal expertise, but on combining intelligent software with professionals who understand the laws and business practices of each market.
